About

My first model kit was a motor-cycle when I was in Primary school. At that time, I saw a motor-cycle which I like very much. However, being a primary school kid, I was not able to get a motor-cycle license. Nor could I afford one. Therefore, when I saw the model for the particular motor-cycle, I jumped at it. However, it was not painted and with glue stains all over. As I grew older, I started to fancy cars, which causes my modelling focus to switch to cars. My first few car models were not painted too. But as I progress, I started spraying, followed by polishing of the car model to make them shine. Upon entering National Service, I saw the first tank and fell in love with it. I wanted to start armour modelling but was afraid as I knew no one who can teach or guide me. Finally, I found a teacher who conducts lessons on armour modelling. I never looked back ever since. Modelling has given me a great sense of satisfaction. I enjoyed the painting and weathering process. Although my working hours as a chef are long, I disciplined myself to spend at least 1 hour to model everyday. Now, not a day passes with me spending at least 1 hour working on my models.
